We took our tried & true Option tire & dialed it for bike life. Still has a smooth center section for low rolling resistance but we thinned the tread a little to decrease rotational weight, making the bike easier to control. Also helping w/ control, the side tread blocks are connected to the center tread, increasing stability & preventing the tread from squirming under load. Lastly, since the demands of bike life are unique, we took the Slidewall concept & adapted it to the Swerve wall, a soft compound for added grip & offers sidewall protection as well.
