An icon of the 1980s BMX scene, the Firebird Freestyler is back. And it’s ready to fly. Engineered in conjunction with John Buultjens; John as you will know, created the Haro Lineage line and developed the recent Hutch Trick Star bikes. If you were going to have a modern DP, this is the guy you’d want working it. Behind the whole project is Neil Park – son of Dave (ie/ D.P.) – who is fulfilling a lifelong dream to honour his father’s legacy with a modern Firebird Freestyler.
We’ve captured the soul of the original legend and rebuilt it for a new generation. The limited edition Firebird Freestyler isn’t just a tribute – it’s an evolution. Feel the rush with its classic 4130 chromoly frame, fork and bar set, a nod to the past’s unbreakable spirit.
Every curve, every line, and every detail has been meticulously crafted to honor its heritage while pushing the limits of modern performance. Whether you’re reliving your youth or creating new memories, the Firebird Freestyler is your perfect partner. Its built for the street, the park, and everything in between.
In Lineage tradition, these framesets use all modern fitments (1 1/8″ forks, integrated headset, Mid BB, 25.4mm seatpost, u-brakes) and geometry, but pays tribute to the OG Firebird Freestyler with the look and fine attention to detail. You could ride this straight from an Old School bike show to a Pro park contest and rip it up! Only comes in one size – 20.8″, a good compromise between 20.5″ and 21″.
Excitement is at a level that we haven’t seen for anything in a while for these kits, each frame with be numbered up to 100 for each colour, Chrome and Metallic White.
