The Hawk External Euro Bottom Bracket at J&R Bicycles may have been designed with the Pro cyclist in mind, but they will enhance any rider’s performance. Lighter and more energy efficient than a standard BB, these ENG threaded bottom brackets are designed to fit on a BSA threaded frame. They will support 24mm cranks like Shimano and FSA and with the addition of Hawks adapter kit (sold separately) can be used with 22/24mm SRAM GXP/Truativ cranks.

• Standard Bearings: Use for road bikes in dry/no salt environments.
• Full Stainless Steel Bearings: Use for extreme distance riding (>200miles/week), BMX, MTN, and other varying conditions.
• Full Stainless Steel Bearings with CX Seals: The CX seal is for riding conditions where water, dust, and debris can get into the bearing and degrade it prematurely. Use for MTN, BMX, Cycle Cross, or other wet and dirty conditions. NOTE: This is not for timed road biking as the extra seal slightly increases wattage.
