The S&M 101 Loose Ball Pedals at J&R Bicycles feature strong and lightweight platform pedal bodies and components to deliver the perfect amount of traction. The cast alloy, compact square pedal design has been reinforced for maximum strength and features fewer pins for reduced weight. The steel screw-in tapered traction pins are a combination of molded and replaceable to allow you do dial in the amount of traction that you prefer. The 9/16″ spindles are made from heat-treated and oxide-coated chromoly alloy for added durability and precision ball bearings and dust shields mean you experience nice and smooth pedal action.
